CURRICULUM OFFERINGS
K TO 12 BASIC EDUCATION CURRICULUM
The K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum ensures that students will gain integrated and seamless learning through its spiral progression feature. Cavite National High School is currently implementing this program for the students from Grade 7 until Grade 10 (Junior High School). The subjects offered in every section of the regular classes are as follows:

SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND ENGINEERING (STE) PROGRAM
Cavite National High School (CNHS), by the virtue of DepEd Order No. 40, series 2010 entitled Expansion of S&T Oriented (ESEP) High Schools Effective School Year 2010-2011, was formally recognized to offer the special curricular program in science as a Type A school. Students of the program are mainly residents of Cavite City and few are from nearby towns of Noveleta, Rosario and Kawit. These students are from families of varied socio-economic status. To date, the school continues to serve as one of the centers of excellence in Science education in the Division of Cavite City. |
SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR THE ARTS (SPA)
In 2012, the school started to offer this program to give talented students a chance to enhance their talents in different fields, covering a range of art forms and disciplines. The main focus of the program is to develop future artists who are specializing in creative writing, visual arts, theater arts, vocal music, instrumental music, dance, and media arts. Open High School Program (OHSP)
To make secondary education accessible to learners, distance learning program for high school students is being implemented for all grade levels. This program is offered to students who are unable to attend regular classes due to physical, economical, and geographical limitations. Alternative Learning System (ALS)
ALS is an alternate or substitute to individuals who does not have or cannot access formal education in schools. Taught in this program primarily centers to both non-formal and informal sources of knowledge and skills. Special Education (SPED)
Started in 2015, this program is designed to meet the needs of children with special needs who cannot profit from regular classroom programs because of disabilities or exceptional disabilities. |
